HuntIQ Privacy Policy

HuntIQ provides a mobile-friendly deer-recovery and hunting application at HuntIQ.org. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle information when you use HuntIQ.

Information We Collect

When you register for HuntIQ, we collect your email address (required) and name (optional). We also record your trial and subscription status and receive a Stripe customer identifier if you subscribe. Your browser user-agent string is collected at signup. HuntIQ uses Google Analytics (ID: G-FMYFVC8EL8) to collect anonymous usage data including page views, events, browser type, device type, and general location.

Information We Do Not Collect

The Blood Tracker uses your device camera through the browser. All video processing occurs locally on your device. HuntIQ does not capture, store, transmit, or upload any camera images or video footage.

Trail Maker records GPS coordinates locally in your browser's local storage on your device. Trail data is not transmitted to HuntIQ or any third party. Maps, weather, and rut information may request your device's location to provide relevant results; this location is not stored on HuntIQ's servers.

Information Sharing

HuntIQ does not sell your personal information. We share information with Stripe (payment processing), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and our email service provider only as needed to operate HuntIQ.

Cookies and Local Storage

HuntIQ uses browser local storage to save your email, onboarding status, trail data, saved pins, weather location, and preferences. Google Analytics sets cookies for analytics purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

HuntIQ retains account information as long as your account is active. No specific automatic deletion periods are configured. To request deletion of your information, contact us at southernwhitetails1@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

HuntIQ is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
