How the HuntIQ Blood Tracker Works

The Blood Tracker uses the phone camera to reduce much of the scene to grayscale while attempting to preserve and emphasize red and pink colors that could indicate blood. It can make subtle evidence easier to notice, but it does not replace careful inspection. Lighting, leaves, bark, reflections, and naturally red objects may occasionally create false positives.

Shot Analyzer and Waiting-Time Guidance

The Shot Analyzer allows the user to select the apparent hit area and receive general guidance regarding possible organ or tissue involvement, recommended waiting period, expected deer behavior, and general recovery outlook. The result is educational guidance, not a guarantee.
