Camera-Based Blood Tracking for Deer Recovery

How the Blood Tracker Works
The Blood Tracker uses the phone camera to reduce much of the surrounding scene to grayscale while attempting to preserve and emphasize red and pink colors that may indicate blood. It includes adjustable sensitivity. All camera processing happens locally on the device. Nothing is uploaded. The Blood Tracker is a visual aid and does not guarantee that every blood spot will be detected.

Bowhunters often deal with smaller entrance wounds, tighter blood trails, and more uncertainty about shot placement and waiting time. HuntIQ is designed for compound bow hunters, traditional bowhunters, crossbow hunters, muzzleloader hunters, and rifle hunters.

The Blood Tracker is supported by Shot Analyzer waiting-time guidance and Trail Maker route recording. HuntIQ also includes hunting maps, Hunter Weather, Rut Reports, Whitetail Atlas, and Field to Freezer.
Important Limitations
The Blood Tracker is a visual aid and does not guarantee that every blood spot will be detected. Red leaves, berries, reflections, bark, and certain lighting conditions may produce false positives. HuntIQ does not guarantee blood detection or deer recovery.
